Palestinians in Holy Land range from secular advocates of peaceful engagement to members of Hamas who were in and out of Israeli jails while we filmed. Our territory stretches from Hebron to Nablus, from Ramallah government offices to the olive orchards and vineyards of remote villages.

Israelis

Israelis in the West Bank range from young extremist settlers in hilltop outpost shacks to suburbanites living in California-like settlements, commuting to high tech jobs in Tel Aviv. We filmed Israelis of all stripes, from far right to far left, from Peace Now to hard core Israelis settlers willing to defy the world in pursuit of biblical destiny.

Investigating Key Issues

Short essays and reporting on the Israel-Palestine conflict, the West Bank settlements and other major issues related to the West Bank. The aim is to round out the story told in Holy Land and to provide context and perspective. At the same time, we investigate some of the specific incidents in the film: a killing of Mustafa Tamimi, a young Palestinian protester; the eviction of 50 settler families from Migron, the arrest of young Palestinian journalist Mohammad Tamimi.
