Dani Dayan headed the Yesha Council from 2007 to 2013. The Council is the main political and lobbying group for the West Bank settlements. Dayan, born in Argentina, began his career as an entrepreneur in high technology. He founded Elad Systems — and sold his interest in 2005.
He lives in the settlement of Maale Shomron.
